Udaan's Idea was inspired by the vision and commitment of founder director Miss Piali Chowdhury, possessing hands on experience of observing and sharing the challenges encountered by local population.
Born and brought up in India, she pursued her professional career in apparel designing but when a stroke of destiny brought her in Uganda in 2005, prevailing environment started moulding her thoughts towards social service and after being associated with various organizations, she decided to charter her own by conceiving an idea for Udaan.
First and foremost, I extend my gratitude to all for extending support enabling us to deliver what we aspire to do. Udaan has started spreading its wings to greater heights.
We will meet all the challenges as a determined team. I also admire our selfless volunteers for their zeal and commitment without whom we were and always remain incomplete.
