Our Mission
- A) Dedicated for the welfare of our fellow citizens of Uganda.
- B) Galvanizing foreign nationals particularly Asian community to serve indigenous population.
- C) Identifying and delivering lesser addressed areas such as mental healt.
On behalf of Udaan fraternity, heartfelt welcome for visiting our website. Whether a sponsor, donor, volunteer or supporter , we are ecstatic to have you on board. We embarked upon this journey in the spring of 2022 driven out of our passion for introducing a meaningful and positive change in our vicinity and to serve the humanity with humility. Our founder director, Piyali Chowdhury galvanized few more like minded people sharing similar values and concerns leading to this nascent idea fructifying into reality in March 2023.
Our name Udaan is derived from an Asian context implying set to soar new heights, channelizing our resources and energy for a brighter future for under privileged strata of the society by addressing and understanding the challenges faced by them. Subsequent sections and pages shed light upon various activities undertaken by team Udaan in line with our mission and vision.
