Our healthcare initiatives focus on reaching underserved communities and providing essential medical services where they're needed most.
An ancient philosophy for holistic healing and integration of our physical being with universal divine power, yoga is now recognized globally for its intrinsic benefits. Udaan, committed to contributing to the health and hygiene of the community, has been at the forefront of organizing yoga camps at various locations throughout Uganda under slum development programs.
Our young girls and boys are born with immense physical prowess and skills to excel in sports, but lack of basic facilities aggravated by economic challenges deprives them of achieving their full potential.
We successfully organized a football tournament for both men and women with more than 18 teams participated, vying for top honors. The tournament was graced by H.E. High Commissioner of India to Uganda Upender Singh Rawat and Hon. Kabanda, Minister of Kampala Metropolitan Affairs along with local leaders.

Celebrations commenced on 5th April with launching a mega cleaning drive in collaboration with KCCA in Kinawataka area. Many celebrities, social influencers, policy makers and political leaders joined in first of its type campaign.
Keeping our commitment with climate enhancement and protection, we started with tree plantation drive in our immediate vicinity.
More than 200 children benefitted with scholarship bursaries and scholastic material courtesy our benevolent donors whom we are perpetually grateful for their unflinching support.
Crowning glory of the event was the Boxing Competition featuring renowned boxers vying for the top honours. Excitement of the spectators was evident from the cheers and high pitch screams for their favourite contestant.

Udaan Chairperson Ms. Piali Chowdhury presented a comprehensive account of inspiration behind Udaan, how the idea was conceived, challenges faced and ultimately dream took shape.
